Nail(ed) It!

So, you think you’ve considered every detail of your wedding.  Venue? Check. Wedding dress? Check. Guest list? Check. Check, check, and more checks. Still, there’s one selection that you may have forgotten to make: your nail color!

Your nails may not be as important as your venue or dress on the big day, but they deserve to be considered. You’re not going to want to see chipped nails wrapped around your bouquet in all those pictures. Don’t forget to book a manicure or set aside some time to pamper yourself.

You’re also not going to want to be flaunting last week’s neon nails if your wedding colors are all pastels. Of course, it does make sense to paint your nails to match your wedding’s color scheme if you’re planning ahead. However, not every color that looks beautiful on bridesmaid dresses or bouquets is meant for your nails.

As a result, nude tones have been a popular color selection. These soft pinks and subtle tans look beautiful on all skin types. They also look great next to any hue of bouquets and wedding dresses, allowing you to avoid any chance of clashing colors.

While clean and simplistic, nude doesn’t have to be boring. Nail art works great with a nude base! Try adding a gradient glitter, stick-on pearls, or lace designs. You might consider using the details on your dress for inspiration. Don’t be afraid to make this trend your own and have fun!
